First of all, if we subtract all the money the older generation has borrowed from the next generation, the boomer generation was probably the first to earn less than Their parents. The next generation will be the first generation to pay off their parents enormous debt and still earn enough to live better than the previous generation.
What a bunch of arrogant pigs, to call us slackers. The next generation tends to take a path less traveled, which happens to be less stressful, more fun and creative, and in the long run more profitable. Just because we don’t sell our souls to some stupid company, strap on the golden handcuffs, and run around obeying every command by our superiors, we are called slackers.
Its bad enough that the older generation totally mismanaged the finances of governments around the world for forty years, but it is even worse to start giving negative labels to a generation who hasn’t even gotten started.
