Women's high heel shoes are over ratedwritten - 10/06/2005 Most guys do not look at shoes. I know some claim to, but they are either probably gay guys or they just like the attention they get from girls who are thrilled that someone appreciates the thing that causes them so much pain and money. Most guys look at a woman’s mid-section, boobs, face, and personality. Low cut jeans and sexy shirts are important to help dress up those body points. Make up, hair, and body language help show off the face and personality. Shoes are an after thought, if they are thought of at all. To think that a woman’s extremity which happens to be the closest point to the dirty floor is the most important part of her body is ludicrous. I know some people have foot fetishes and I am not against anyone having any kind of fetish, but to assume that foot enthusiasts are anything but a small minority is misguided. I can spend an entire night out with a woman I find hot and never notice her shoes. Usually the only time I notice the shoes are at 2AM when she starts complaining “my feet are killing me!” To make matters worse, women pay a fortune for their impractical foot wear. Once in a while I can see wearing crazy high heel uncomfortable shoes, but in general women would be better off wearing something comfortable. This way they would be a better dancer, happier, more fun, more confident and strong in their walk, and less tired. The woman may lose 2 or 3 inches off their height, but who cares? Since when do we hear of guys craving tall girls? Most women even admit that the reason they wear crazy shoes is to impress other women. There seems to be some strange code language between women that shoes and handbags are used to compete against each other. I don’t understand it and it seems a waste of time to me. Speaking of handbags, my only observation with handbags is that there seems to be a direct correlation between the size of a woman’s handbag and the size of her ass . . . but that is fodder for a future essay.
