The brain is made of chemicals.
Each mood and each thought is a different combination of chemicals.

• Hyperactive people will have a different chemical set than a lazy person.
• A happy person will have a different chemical set than a sad person

Although the chemicals are different, they can still be changed and they are not necessarily bad.

Since people who suffer from the problems associated with ADD act differently, then it is no surprise that the chemicals in their brain are also different. But that does not mean that those chemicals will not change with a change in behavior and it also does not mean that those chemicals have to be labeled negatively as "disordered"
